Our Goal– A World Without Brain Tumors
Garo Yepremian’s late daughter-in-law, Debby, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor (intrinsic brainstem glioma) in 1998. Unfortunately, after greatly outliving her doctors’ prognoses of six months to live, Debby’s battle came to an end in 2004. The Garo Yepremian Foundation was founded in 2001 to fight this disease.
In May, 2014, Garo was diagnosed with a brain tumor caused by neuroendocrine cancer. The tumor was removed, and Garo is currently undergoing chemotherapy to treat the cancer.
Mission Statement: The Garo Yepremian Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable corporation dedicated to raising funds for brain tumor and brain cancer research.
