Debby-Lu Yepremian

Dear Friends,

When my youngest son, Azad, learned that his girlfriend, Debby-Lu, was diagnosed with an intrinsic brainstem glioma (inoperable brain tumor) at the tender age of 19, he decided to marry her and help her in the fight for her life.

With Azad by her side, and with the steadfast help of Jefferson Hospital’s neuroscience program, she outlived her initial prognosis of six months to live, and went on to live for six years. Sadly, Debby lost her battle at the age of 26. The Garo Yepremian Foundation continues to fight this disease in honor of her memory.
